About This Product
Thermal Grizzly CPU Contact Frame Intel 1851 V1
Swapping Intel's stock LGA1851 retention mechanism for this anodised aluminium frame shifts the clamping load from the centre of the processor out to its edges, keeping the heat spreader flat so a cooler's cold plate makes full contact. Built specifically for Intel Core Ultra 200 Series processors. Supplied brand new and sealed in its original manufacturer packaging.

⚡ Key Features
- Purpose-made for LGA1851 and the Intel Core Ultra 200 Series — not an adapted LGA1700 part.
- Replaces the stock retention mechanism and moves contact pressure to the edges of the processor.
- Keeps the integrated heat spreader flat, so the cooler's contact surface is used in full rather than only at the rim.
- Anodised aluminium construction holds even clamping force without flexing over time.
- Also fits processors whose heat spreader has been sanded down by no more than 0.2 mm.
- Complete fitting kit supplied — four UNC screws plus both the hex and Torx T20 keys needed for the swap.
- Straightforward install: remove the stock ILM, drop the frame in, torque the four screws.
- An improvement you keep across cooler upgrades, since it works with whatever heatsink or AIO you fit next.
